1. About the Service

Instant Book Club ("we," "us," or "the Service") is operated at instantbookclub.com. We provide an AI-powered tool that generates book club meeting kits including discussion questions, icebreakers, food and drink pairings, vibe suggestions, and printable decorations for any book.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Instant Book Club, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. Accounts

You may use certain features without an account. Creating an account requires a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Free and Premium Tiers

The free tier allows up to 5 book club kit generations in your first month, then 1 generation per month after that. The Premium tier, available via a paid subscription, provides unlimited kit generations and access to premium printable decorations.

Premium subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.

5. Refunds and Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Upon cancellation, you will retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — please contact us at the email below.

6. AI-Generated Content

Book club kits are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for quality and accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected output. The content is provided "as is" for personal and book club use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any generated content.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service
• Resell or redistribute generated content for commercial purposes without permission

8. Intellectual Property

The Instant Book Club name, branding, design, and website content are our property. Book metadata (titles, authors, covers) is sourced from the Google Books API and remains the property of the respective rights holders. AI-generated kit content is provided for your personal use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Instant Book Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
